Goals and Initiatives
Dewey Business Partnership takes pride in Dewey Beach. Of our initiatives, one is to support the town in its beautification efforts through Litter clean-up. Currently the town has budgeted 8 street sweepings for the YEAR! They take place on Sunday mornings over the summer. DBP will have American Hardscapes sweep the Main Highway and Bayard Avenue every Monday morning for the remainder of the season and every summer weekend next year so that the town will be swept regularly over the summer season. The Street Sweeper will proudly display the DBP logo. In addition, for the remainder of this season and for the future, we will organize litter pick-up on every side street as many days a week as possible. This group will also display our logo to show our support and presence in the community.
Other initiatives include donations to the town for the purchase of a LED town sign as well as continued support for extra police on Memorial Day and holiday weekends among other initiatives that will contribute to the greater good of Dewey Beach.

Acvtivities and Fundraising
Dewey First Night…Kids' Beach Party held Wednesday, June 22, 2011 and we look forward to doing it again for the 2012 season.
Dewey Business Partnership in conjunction with the Rehoboth-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held its first event to celebrate the beginning of the summer at the first bonfire. Over 200 kids and their families enjoyed music by DJ Bobby O and Chris Mal, kids' food and drinks, face painting by Kids Cottage, beach tennis by Kings Creek Country Club, Chamber mascots, and games and contests hosted by Kelly Ranieri. The event was a huge success, and we are looking forward to next year!
